    Two group standards edited by ProfessorZheng Chunli of our institute have been officially released

    Professor Zheng Chunli from our institutetook the lead in drafting two group standards of the Zhongguancun Green MiningIndustry Alliance (T/GRM), which have been officially released recently. Theyare Technical Specifications for Cyanide TailingsMicrobial Disposal (T/GRM088-2023) and Technical Specifications for Microbial Remediation of Heavy MetalContaminated soil in Arid and Semi-arid Areas (T/GRM089-2023). Both of these group standards will come into effect on January 1,2024.

     

     

    Technical Specifications for CyanideTailings Microbial Disposal (T/GRM088-2023): This standardclearly defines the operational requirements and criteria for the microbialtreatment of cyanide tailings technology, providing scientific and feasibleguidance for related enterprises and units. Meanwhile, the microbial treatmenttechnology for cyanide tailings not only reduces environmental pollution butalso lowers treatment costs. It promotes the further development andimprovement of microbial treatment technology, enhancing its feasibility andefficiency. The implementation of this standard will facilitate the widespreadapplication of microbial treatment technology and drive the development ofrelated industries. Additionally, it will provide more business opportunitiesand development space for related enterprises and units.

     

    Technical Specifications for MicrobialRemediation of Heavy Metal Contaminated soil in Arid and Semi-arid Areas(T/GRM089-2023): This technical specification providesa scientific basis for the microbial remediation of soil heavy metal pollutionin arid and semi-arid regions. It clearly defines the operational principles,technical requirements, and assessment criteria to be followed during theremediation process, making the remediation work more scientific andstandardized. The release of this specification is of significant importancefor environmental protection in arid and semi-arid regions, the development andinnovation of microbial remediation technology, the practical operationguidance for the remediation of heavy metal pollution in arid and semi-aridregions, and the development of related industries.
